Nicole Liu was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She attended the University of Florida, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and minors in English and Business Administration. She then received her law degree from the University of Miami School of Law where she served on the Student Bar Association and on the Race and Social Justice Law Review. Mrs. Liu is admitted to the Florida Bar and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida. She is an active member of the Jacksonville Bar Association and serves as the President of the Jacksonville Asian American Bar Association.
Mrs. Liu spent the first part of her career working for insurance defense firms where her practice focused on defending large corporations, insurance companies, big box stores, and city governments against personal injury claims including auto accident, slip and fall, and premises liability matters. During her time as an insurance defense attorney, she gained invaluable insight into all of the tactics insurance companies use when it defends and litigates its cases. Mrs. Liu now utilizes that experience to exclusively represent individuals and families who who have been injured in slip and fall, trip and fall, dog bite, and negligent security cases.
