Marilyn Heiken represents people seriously injured or killed by car and truck collisions, defective products, medical malpractice, industrial accidents, and other incidents. Marilyn has the highest professional ratings for legal ability and ethics.
Marilyn entered the field of law in her early twenties as the office manager for St. Andrew Legal Clinic in Portland, Oregon. The clinic is a catholic nonprofit organization that provides legal services to people in financial need. She then worked as a legal secretary for three years in Eugene before she decided to go to law school. She decided to become a lawyer to address injustices she saw in society and in the practice of law. Marilyn got her bachelors degree in English, summa cum laude, from the University of Oregon, and she got her law degree from the University of Oregon in 1992.
