Mario joined the firm in 2018, having already accrued substantial experience in complicated litigation. During law school, Mario was awarded a prestigious paid internship in the Constitutional Studies Department of the Cato institute, and he served as a Publication Editor on the Quinnipiac Law Review. Mario graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2012 with numerous awards and honors, for scholarship and for service to the community. Immediately after law school, Mario served as a term clerk to the Honorable Douglas S. Lavine in the Connecticut Appellate Court. He has been a serious litigator ever since.
Mario is involved with all aspects of complex litigation and intricate motion practice. He personally handles criminal defense, post-conviction matters, and personal injury litigation. He has a wide range of experience in administrative law, from the FAA to DMV to the Office of Early Childhood and many others. Mario has successfully argued before the Connecticut Supreme Court and won numerous honors for his legal writing. Finally, Mario is one of the few attorneys in the State of Connecticut who is a member of the First Amendment Lawyers Association, and he has substantial experience on state and federal constitutional law.
Mario is actively involved in service, with a strong record for pro bono work, both First Amendment and otherwise. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mario was a high school English teacher.
