Mark A. Mesler II is recognized as one of the top 8 criminal lawyers in Memphis. Since 2010, he has continuously been ranked as a Power Player by the Memphis Business Quarterly. Mark has been lead defense counsel for more than 50 jury trials including over 20 homicide cases. He is known for his diligent and fair representation.
While in law school, Mark won Best Oral Advocate in the 1994 Mock Trial Competition and Honorable Mention for Best Oral Advocate in the 1992 Moot Court Competition. He was also a National Quarter-Finalist in the National Moot Court Competition. Mark later served on the Moot Court Board as an Associate Justice. He is regularly asked to serve as a special judge in a number of the local courts.
Mark is a member of the Memphis Bar Association and the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
