Mark G. Blum

Mark G. Blum is a senior partner in the firm, having practiced with the firm since his graduation from Marquette University Law School in 1985. Attorney Blum received his undergraduate degree from Marquette University in 1990 and is also a graduate of Waukesha North High School.

Attorney Blum has litigated many civil cases in both state and federal courts and has handled appellate matters before the Wisconsin Court of Appeals and the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as well as the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Attorney Blum's practice is concentrated in business and corporate law, probate and estate planning, real estate transactions and development, as well as municipal law. Attorney Blum has been the City Attorney for the City of New Berlin since 2002, and the Village Attorney for the Village of Pewaukee since 2004.

Attorney Blum is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and has served on the State Bar Fee Arbitration Panel for Waukesha County. He is also a member of the Waukesha County Bar Association and specifically, its Municipal Lawyers section.

Attorney Blum has served as an attorney coach for Waukesha South High School, as well as a judge in the Wisconsin Bar Foundation Mock Trial Program. He has also served on the Board of Directors of The Caring Place, Inc., the Friends of the Caring Place, Inc. and Social Rehabilitation & Residential Resources, Inc., and has been the President of each of those organizations. He is also a member of First United Methodist Church of Waukesha and been a delegate to Wisconsin Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.

Attorney Blum and his wife, Debbie, are parents of four daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys running, kayaking, cycling, woodworking and reading.
