Martin D. Smalline was born on May 14, 1961 in Rochester, New York and graduated magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1983, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He received his Juris Doctor from the School of Law at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1986. He first practiced law with the New York City firm of Ross, Suchoff, Tarroff, Egert & Hankin, PC, from 1987 through 1990, gaining extensive trial experience in the areas of medical malpractice and personal injury. He then practiced with the firm of Culley, Marks, Tanenbaum, Reifsteck & Potter, LLC in his home city of Rochester, New York from 1990 through 1994 doing trial work in the areas of insurance defense litigation, medical malpractice, and personal injury. The current partnership of Smalline and Harri was formed in 1994, located in downtown Albany, New York, where he has practiced continuously in the areas civil litigation, including but not limited to construction injuries, harm caused by medical malpractice, disability resulting from motor vehicle accidents, birth injury, brain injury, wrongful death, and sexual assault. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
