Mary Bajo

Mary Bajo was hand picked for her legal prowess and promising litigation ability, joining Estey & Bomberger, LLP in 2010. Her first case involved a career-ending construction site accident case ($10.7 million dollar settlement).

Her efforts have helped the San Diego law firm grow to one of the most well known personal injury firms in the US. The year following that case, Bajo and the team achieved over $100 million in personal injury results for clients. Bajo has worked with clients injured on construction sites, in auto, motorcycle and bicycle collisions, by dangerous products in mass tort litigation, and from childhood sexual abuse.

Beyond the construction site accident, Bajo has been a vital team member on these cases:

*Matt Doe v Los Angeles Unified School District, $23 million jury verdict for a child survivor of molestation by his teacher

*Confidential v Confidential, $21 million settlement for consumers injured because of a dangerous product

*John Doe v Pacific Health Systems, resulting in a $6.5 million jury verdict for two boys, survivors of molestation by a volunteer mentor an a substance abuse outpatient facility

Prior to Estey & Bomberger, Bajo worked at Timothy M. Cary and Associates in public education law, for the Sacramento County DA's Office in the misdemeanor and DUI division, and for Anthony Adams' office (former California Assemblyman).

Bajo's current focus is on childhood sexual abuse cases at institutions -- when the child was under the care of a school, after-school or sports program, church or day care at the time of the sexual abuse. Her deep knowledge of, and passion for, the topic earned her an invitation as a panelist at the 22nd International Summit on Violence, Abuse & Trauma, for their program "Sexual Solicitation, Misconduct & Abuse of Students by School Personnel: Challenges, Resources and Recommendations.
