MaryBeth V. Gibson is an Atlanta native. As an undergraduate at the University of Georgia, MaryBeth majored in Biochemistry, and was a member of the National Pre-Med Honor Society. She was an active member of the Environmental Law Association while attending the University of Georgia School of Law. Upon graduation from law school, MaryBeth practiced law at one of the largest law firms in the southeast handling insurance coverage disputes and property and casualty matters on behalf of employers and insurers. Combining her unique experiences and background in medicine along with her passion for the law, MaryBeth brings a unique perspective to litigated matters. She has over 17 years experience handling insurance coverage disputes and property and casualty matters. She has authored several papers on handling property loss, fraud and ensuing litigation, and has been a featured speaker at Property/Casualty seminars throughout the southeast on these topics.
MaryBeth practices in the area of general civil litigation and handles cases involving mass torts, catastrophic injury claims, product liability, subrogation and business torts. MaryBeth also represents professional athletes and handles business owners and business disputes, including franchisee/franchisor disputes. Her practice includes an emphasis on class action litigation. She was selected as Georgia Trend's 2009 Legal Elite: Georgia's Most Effective Lawyers.
