      Biography

      Matthew A. Casper was born and raised in Sandy, Utah. In the fall of 1996 Matt enrolled at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. After his freshman year he took two years off to serve in Seattle as a missionary for his church. Upon returning to school Matt graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy in 2002. After graduating college Matt learned how to crunch numbers while working as a financial assistant in an accounting firm.

      Matt graduated from Lewis and Clark Law School and earned his Doctor of Law degree in April of 2006 and was admitted to practice law in Oregon in September of 2006. He worked as a law clerk for Oliveros & O'Brien during his 3rd year of law school before joining the firm as an associate. Matt focuses his practice of law on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies as well as consumer protection, corporate dissolution, and small business litigation.

      Matt met and married his wife during college and they now have two children. Among other things, he enjoys soccer, rock climbing, waterskiing and the outdoors in general. He also enjoys spending whatever time he can with his wife and kids.
