Matthew John Bayma

Mr. Bayma is an associate attorney in the Western Slope Office located in Telluride. Mr. Bayma attended Michigan State University where he received his undergraduate degree in English and a minor in Environmental Economics. Mr. Bayma went onto earn a master's degree in Environmental Law and his law degree from the University of Denver.

Mr. Bayma has been practicing law in Colorado for over ten years. He focuses on defending insurance companies and their insureds, but he also has a diverse general practice background. Mr. Bayma represents plaintiffs, criminally accused, contractors, individuals, insurance companies and businesses. This experience makes him a well-rounded litigator with unique perspective and court room experience. Mr. Bayma takes pride in listening to and developing relationships with all parties. This allows him to key in on important issues and empower his clients at all stages of the case. This approach has led to great results through informal negotiations, trial and appeal.

Mr. Bayma lived in Denver for 10 years before relocating to Telluride in 2018. He is the president of the local Rotary Club, a board member for a regional non-profit and a member of the San Miguel County Planning Commission. Mr. Bayma takes great pride in serving this wonderful mountain community and representing clients that live and work here.
