Ms. Clearie is an associate at McOmber & McOmber, P.C. Ms. Clearie handles all aspects of employment litigation, including but not limited to matters involving discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and whistleblower claims.
Ms. Clearie believes that every employee should always feel safe and comfortable in the workplace and that anything less is an injustice.
Ms. Clearie graduated magna cum laude from East Stroudsburg University in 2015, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy. Following her graduation from East Stroudsburg University, Ms. Clearie attended Rutgers Law School on a Deans Academic Scholarship.
During law school, Ms. Clearie gained invaluable judicial experience, beginning her law career as a judicial intern to the Honorable Emil A. Giordano (Ret.), presiding judge for the Court of Common Pleas of Northampton County.
Ms. Clearie then served as an extern for the Honorable Justice Lee A. Solomon of the New Jersey Supreme Court and the Honorable Michael J. Haas of the New Jersey Superior Court—Appellate Division. In those roles, Ms. Clearie performed legal research for civil and criminal cases, drafted memoranda preparing the Court for oral argument and discussed petitions for certification. Ms. Clearie also aided in drafting and editing the Court’s opinions.
Ms. Clearie spent the Summer of 2018 at Swartz Campbell’s Philadelphia office, in their Tier 1 Professional Liability Department. Subsequently, Ms. Clearie realized Employment Litigation was her passion and began working as a law clerk at McOmber & McComber’s Marlton, New Jersey Office.
Throughout law school, Ms. Clearie was an active member in the Rutgers Law School community. Ms. Clearie served as the Lead Notes Editor of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion, Women’s Law Caucus Representative, a LexisNexis student representative, Student Bar Association Representative and Hunter Moot Court Teaching Fellow. Ms. Clearie also participated in the Honorable Judith H. Wizmur Bankruptcy Pro-Bono Project where she conducted client interviews and helped the indigenous file bankruptcy petitions.
Ms. Clearie was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in July 2019 and currently lives in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Ms. Clearie loves sports, DIY projects and coaching youth Cheerleading teams.
