Melissa A. Arnold was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She graduated from Northern Kentucky University, Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2012. Prior to starting Chase’s night law school program in 2008, Melissa had been working as a Paralegal since 2005 for Plaintiff law firms and obtained her Paralegal Certificate from Bellarmine University in 2006. During law school, Melissa worked in Juvenile Court and Non-Support for the Jefferson County Circuit Court Clerk’s office, clerked for a family law/personal injury law firm, worked as a Paralegal for Riley & Associates, PLLC and Morris & Player PLLC, served as a night student representative for the Student Bar Association and for the Legal Association of Women, and participated in an externship with the Kentucky Innocence Project. In 2010, Melissa was working as a Paralegal for Morris & Player PLLC where she continued to work during her last two years of law school and transitioned into an attorney position after being licensed in May of 2013. Then in the Fall of 2013, Melissa opened her own law firm where she works today.
Melissa is licensed to practice law in Kentucky. She is a member of the Louisville Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association, Kentucky Justice Association, and American Bar Association. She is also a member of the Kentucky Bar Association’s Young Lawyer's Division and The Women Lawyers Association of Jefferson County.
