Melissa Winthers represents injured clients who were hurt because of another’s negligence or intentional conduct. Melissa has authored many medical-legal articles and publications and has spoken at medical-legal seminars in the brain injury community about the legal aspects of traumatic brain injury cases. Some of her publications include articles about vestibular injuries caused by traumatic brain injuries, the Colorado regulations governing motor vehicle insurance, health insurance subrogation in the personal injury case, and medical-legal issues related to neck and back injuries caused by car crashes.
Melissa is active in the community, helping organizations that assist people who have been injured as they work toward recovery. She has served as the President of the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado, as a board member of the Chanda Plan Foundation, and as a board member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers’ Association.
Melissa’s representation has resulted in numerous seven figure resolutions and awards for her clients, and she has been recognized for her excellence in the practice of law.
