Merryl F. Weiner Esq.

Ms. Weiner received a Bachelors of Arts degree from SUNY Albany before going on to obtain her Juris Doctor from New York Law School. Ms. Weiner was admitted to the bars in both New York and New Jersey in 1988. For almost ten years, at the beginning her legal career, Ms. Weiner defended malpractice suits on behalf of several major metropolitan hospitals and represented several institutional defendants in actions involving personal injuries, insurance disputes and the labor law.

For the past fifteen years, Ms. Weiner has committed herself to represent critically injured people as a result of medical negligence and has done it with compassion and zealousness. Before joining Meagher & Meagher in 2009, Ms. Weiner worked with the principle, Christopher Meagher where they obtained a record break verdict in Westchester County for a 21 year old mother of two who was left a paraplegic as a result of the doctors negligence. In 2012, Ms. Weiner was co-council with Mr. Meagher where they again achieved a record breaking verdict this time involving a dental malpractice matter. The jury verdict resulted in New York State's largest and the nation's second largest award in a dental negligence case.
