Michael L. Tyler has been licensed to practice law in the state of Louisiana since October of 2004. Attorney Tyler received his bachelors' degree in Accounting from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in the year 2000. Attorney Tyler graduated with honors from the Southern University Law Center in 2004. After graduating from the Southern University Law Center, Attorney Tyler attended the College of Law at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois, where he received a Masters of Laws in Taxation.
Attorney Tyler spent just shy of 8 years with the Louisiana Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General, where he represented the Louisiana Gaming Control Board and the Office of Charitable Gaming. Under The Tyler Law Firm, LLC, Attorney Tyler has represented two (2) non-profit organization, and has recovered millions of dollars for injured clients. Attorney Tyler is a former President of the Louis A. Martinet Legal Society (Baton Rouge's black lawyer's association), having served two (2) consecutive terms.
