Mr. Flynn was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He attended Christian Brothers College Military High School (C.B.C.). Thereafter, he attended St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri, where he majored in Corporate Finance. He graduated in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from the University's School of Commerce and Finance. Mr. Flynn obtained his legal education at St. Louis University School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor degree in 1973.
Following graduation from law school, Mr. Flynn worked briefly in the private practice of law before accepting a position in 1975 as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney on the trial staff of the Office of the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney. During his tenure on the trial staff Mr. Flynn tried numerous felony and misdemeanor jury trials, gaining valuable trial experience that he has been able to draw upon in his subsequent private practice. In 1977, Mr. Flynn resigned his position as Assistant Prosecuting Attorney to join his present firm where he been engaged in the private practice of general civil litigation for the past thirty-one years.
From 1981 to 1987, in addition to his full time practice of law, Mr. Flynn served in the capacity of Prosecuting Attorney and subsequently as a Municipal Judge, for the City of Northwoods, Missouri. Mr. Flynn has served from time to time as an Administrative Hearing Officer for the St. Louis County Board of Police Commissioners for cases regarding employee appeals of disciplinary measures.
Law Practice:For the past thirty-three years Mr. Flynn has devoted the majority of his time to helping injured clients and their family members pursue claims for damages and compensation for personal injury and wrongful death and has been inducted into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an organization whose membership is limited to trial lawyers who have demonstrated exceptional skill, experience and excellence in advocacy by achieving a trial verdict, award or settlement in the amount of One Million Dollars or more.
Mr. Flynn has represented clients for personal injury and wrongful death resulting from many different causes including:

In addition to being inducted into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum as noted above, Mr. Flynn is a member of the Missouri Bar Association and is licensed to practice before all Missouri State Trial and Appellate Courts, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Missouri and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit (Federal Trial and Appellate Courts, respectively). He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the American Association For Justice (formerly known as the American Trial Lawyers Association or "ATLA"), The Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the St. Louis County Bar Association and the Lawyers' Association of Greater St. Louis.
