Miranda was born in Marshall, Texas, and graduated cum laude from East Texas Baptist University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She was President of Sigma Tau Delta English Honors Society, team captain of the cross country team and Vice President of Sigma Sigma Epsilon sorority. After college she worked for a law firm that specialized in personal injury and medical malpractice claims and decided to attend law school at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth, where she graduated in 2008. While in school she clerked for a law firm in Fort Worth that litigated a variety of personal injury and medical malpractice cases.
Miranda has handled hundreds of Workers’ Compensation claims and also practices in the area of Personal Injury and First Party Claims. She is an avid runner and member of the Memphis Runners Track Club, Memphis Hightailers Bike Club and attends church at First Evangelical Church in Memphis.
