Nicole was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of St. Francis with an A.S. in nursing. She began working as a registered nurse at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and returned to school. In 2005, she graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in nursing from the University of St. Francis. After graduation, she moved to Memphis and began working as an oncology nurse at Methodist University.
Nicole attended the University of Memphis School of Law and she graduated magna cum laude. While in law school, she was on the Editorial Board of the Law Review and won CALI Awards for Civil Procedure 1, Civil Procedure II, Civil Procedure III, Conflicts of Law, Mental Health Law, Federal Courts and Secured Transactions. She also was awarded Best Appellate Brief in 2006 and worked as a legal nurse consultant for a medical malpractice attorney. Nicole has practiced Social Security disability law since graduating from law school. She has handled hundreds of cases at numerous levels of appeal, including hearings before Administrative Law Judges and the Appeal’s Council.
