Civic Activities:Noble L. Boykin, Jr. is currently president of the Georgia Salzburger Society (a historical society among descendants of early German and Austrian settlers in Georgia). He is past president of the Board of the Second Harvest Food Bank of Coastal Georgia and has served on the Congregational Council as President and Vice President of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ascension in Savannah. He is also a member of the Bryan County Planning and Zoning Commission. He recently received a historic preservation award by the Historic Savannah Foundation for his role in helping to prevent the demolition of one of the last remaining Savannah River Plantation houses.
