Patrick J. Allegri

Patrick Allegri is a trial attorney who represents businesses, insurance companies, and individuals in state and federal courts throughout Missouri and Kansas. Patrick's practice focuses primarily on the defense of claims involving serious bodily injury, property damage, and extra-contractual liability as well as analysis of insurance coverage. Patrick is an active member of the Missouri Bar Association, the Kansas Bar Association, the Lawyers Association of Kansas City, the Missouri Organization of Defense Counsel, and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association.

Before joining Knight Nicastro MacKay in 2021, Patrick spent several years in private practice before going "in-house" to work as a claims attorney at AmeriTrust Group in 2018. Patrick's legal career started in 2010 in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri, where he served as judicial law clerk to the Hon. Robert M. Schieber.

Patrick received his juris doctorate (emphasis in litigation) in 2010 from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. In law school, Patrick served as a member of UMKC's national Moot Court and Trial Advocacy teams, received the John L. Sheridan Memorial Appellate Advocate Award and the National Trial Competition Award, and was inducted into the National Order of Barristers upon graduation. Prior to law school, Patrick graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with bachelor's degrees in journalism and sociology.

•Personal Information: In his free time, Patrick enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, playing softball, and rooting for the Chiefs, Royals, and Missouri Tigers.
