Paul A. O’Connor III

Paul O'Connor is a partner in the firm of O'Connor, Parsons, Lane, & Noble, LLC, which is listed as a Best Law Firm by US News & World Report. Paul specializes in plaintiff personal injury law, with a significant emphasis in plaintiff medical malpractice matters. In that regard, Paul has represented plaintiffs in cases ranging from birth related injuries to wrongful death as the result of medical negligence. Paul's representation has resulted in numerous multi-million dollar recoveries for his clients.

As reported in The New Jersey Law Journal, Paul was co-counsel on a wrongful birth case which resulted in a verdict of $28 million dollars. He also received a verdict of $10.5 million dollars on a failure to diagnosis skin cancer case in Union County and $4.65 million for a child suffering from cerebral palsy.

Mr. O'Connor has been listed in New Jersey Monthly Magazine as both a Rising Star and Super Lawyers (2006-present). Paul has also been named to New Jersey's Ten Leaders in Civil Trial & Personal Injury Law (age 45 and under). He received his B.A. from Denison University (1989) and his J.D. from Whittier Law School in 1993. He is Vice-President of the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey (TANJ) and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Northern New Jersey Chapter.

Paul is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney. He is also a frequent faculty member for Continuing Legal Education programs, including being on the faculty for ABOTA Trial College at Harvard Law School, ABOTA Trial College at Princeton University, and ABOTA Masters in Trial.
