Rachelle N. Ponist received her Juris Doctor from Indiana University McKinney School of Law. Rachelle Ponist has focused her law practice primarily on the areas of family law, criminal defense, estate planning, and employment law/wage loss.
Prior to attending law school, Rachelle attended Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana where she received her Bachelor of Science Degrees in Public Relations and Political Science Pre-Law graduating Magna Cum Laude. While attending Indiana Wesleyan University, Rachelle was also a four year collegiate athlete on the Women's Soccer team. Rachelle was the recipient of the NAIA Champion of Character Award and numerous Scholar Athlete awards.
When not in the office, Rachelle enjoys spending time with her husband, who is also a local attorney, and her family and friends. You will often find Rachelle on a variety of sporting fields. Rachelle still plays soccer competitively and also coaches a local high school team. Rachelle also enjoys playing tennis and pursuing her equestrian interests in the hunter/jumper arena.
