      Biography

Rasha divides her practice between labor and employment litigation and compliance and personal injury and premises liability defense. Rasha began her career at an employee-side labor and employment firm, where she represented plaintiffs in cases involving federal and state discrimination and retaliation, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Texas Workforce Commission, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Occupational Health and Safety Administration, the National Labor Relations Act, breach of contract, non-competition agreements, and other statutes and regulatory bodies. Rasha’s background as an employee-side attorney has been an advantageous experience, which she draws on in counseling her clients and during litigation.

Alongside her litigation work, Rasha also leads clients through severance negotiations, early case resolution, as well as internal compliance and training programs. Rasha has presented on the topics of sexual harassment and implicit bias to various associations and human resources organizations, as well as provided sexual harassment training to employers and their employees.

Rasha takes pride in her relationship with her clients. She understands that an effective defense strategy is found in the details. Whether it be aggressively representing her clients in litigation, or early case resolution, Rasha partners with her clients to determine the best way to meet their needs. Rasha’s unique background, client centric approach, and zealous advocacy, has earned her many recognitions, including the Avvo client choice award, the Texas Rising Star award in both 2020 and 2021, and the Top 40 under 40 National Trial Lawyer award in both 2021 and 2022. A great overall experience having Rasha Zeyadeh as my attorney representing me in a discrimination claim against my former employer. Rasha was professional, efficient, personable and very thorough and insightful in explaining the whole process. Rasha was honest with me concerning time frame to resolution and in setting realistic expectations of what the outcome could be. Rasha and I met regularly and exchanged emails with each other to keep me updated and informed on the progress of the case. She was very prompt with responding to my calls and emails when I had any questions or concerns. After my initial meeting with Rasha I was confident she would work hard in representing my case during negotiations on a settlement. Her extraordinary efforts helped with negotiating an acceptable and satisfying settlement. I highly recommend her.

I’ve had a rather complicated issue related to my former employment. The matter was complicated not only by itself but also by the time constraints due to my visa status. During the consultation, Mr. Wiley explained in depth all the possible ramifications of my issues and assured me they’re available to represent me, unlike most of the attorneys I asked – and there were many of them. I was happy to start working with Rasha on the matter. Rasha demonstrated high professionalism and readiness to fight at every single step we moved through. Despite my former employer’s best efforts to drag out the matter and all the hypocrisy we had to encounter, along with the most expensive attorneys on the other side, Rasha has managed to successfully negotiate. In addition, Rasha was able to provide detailed explanations in a friendly manner every single time I was not sure about the next steps. That was a remarkable experience and I highly recommend both Rasha personally and Mr. Wiley’s firm to anyone having serious issues with his/her employer.

Rasha was very helpful in securing a larger settlement than what was originally offered. She handled my case professionally and quickly. She was very responsive and communicated effectively. I highly recommend using her for any settlement related matter.

Rasha handled my case as if it was her only case. She was very professional in her actions and communications, which I greatly appreciated. She always responded in a timely manner to me and with all matters regarding my case. Rasha was also thorough in her explanations and provided great detail on next steps. Outside of my case, she was also very respectful and empathetic to things happening in my life at the same time.
