Reese is an Associate at Mitchell & Sheahan, P.C. He is involved in handling employment matters through all stages of the litigation process. Reese has experience dealing with claims involving the Americans With Disabilities Act, Title VII, and other civil rights violations in both the Federal and Connecticut state court systems.
Reese is a graduate of Tulane University Law School. While at Tulane, Reese participated and earned the highest level of achievement in the Tulane Juvenile Law Clinic. The Clinic provides legal aid to children and teenagers in Southern Louisiana. Reese is also a 2005 graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point. At Kings Point, Reese earned a Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Intermodal Transportation and a US Coast Guard issued Unlimited Third Mate’s License. In addition, Reese has a Master’s of Science in International Transportation Management from SUNY Maritime College.
Before becoming an attorney, Reese sailed as a civilian navigational and deck officer aboard US Navy owned support vessels around the world. The ships he sailed aboard were involved in providing at sea logistical support to military operations worldwide. These ships also participated in humanitarian and diplomatic missions on behalf of the American government.
Reese holds a Certificate in Admiralty Law from Tulane University and maintains a US Coast Guard issued Unlimited Second Mate’s All Oceans License. Reese is admitted to practice before the Connecticut and New Jersey State Bars and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.
