Rhonda Wilson Paice was born in Loudoun County and attended Loudoun Valley High School. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Foreign Affairs and received her J.D. from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the
University of Richmond in 1987.Rhonda is admitted to practice in Virginia, in all state and federal courts. After having interned while in school at the Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney in Loudoun County and the Loudoun County Circuit Court, Rhonda began her career as an associate with the largest law firm in Virginia - McGuire, Woods, Battle & Boothe - at its Tysons Corner office. While at MWBB, her practice area was primarily civil litigation with concentrations in tort defense, warranty and products liability, and commercial and contract claims, representing international, national and regional clients. Thereafter, Rhonda worked briefly for a small Fairfax County firm specializing in regional medical malpractice defense litigation.
In 1994, Rhonda returned to Leesburg and opened the firm of Paice & Mougin-Boal with her colleague, Christine Mougin-Boal. The firm merged with Joe S. Ritenour in 2004, becoming Ritenour Paice & Mougin-Boal, a general practice litigation
firm, criminal and civil.From 2007 to 2010, Rhonda was honored to participate as a faculty member for the Harry L. Carrico Professionalism Course, the mandatory seminar required of all new members of the Virginia State Bar. The course focuses on the high level of professional and ethical conduct expected of attorneys in Virginia. The faculty members are nominated by their peers and selected by the Chief Justice of the Virginia Supreme Court.
Rhonda primarily represents individuals and small companies, and her areas of practice include the litigation of divorce/custody and visitation/spousal and child support/property division; the defense of all criminal offenses, felony/misdemeanor/traffic; the review and litigation of contract disputes; real estate contract and title issues.
Rhonda is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Loudoun County Bar Association (Board of Directors - 2004-05; President - 1997-98; Treasurer - 1995-96), and a partner in Marquis Investment Group, LLC, the owner of the historic Laurel Brigade building where the office is located.
Throughout her years of practice, Rhonda has valued community service and has been active in various outreach projects. Rhonda continues to reside in Loudoun with her daughter, and is an avid fan of her beloved Redskins and Nationals, as well as the Virginia Cavaliers.
