I am a proud graduate of Kingston High School's class of 1989. I earned my Bachelor's degree in history and political science (summa cum laude) in 1983 from Mount St. Mary College in Newburgh, New York, here in the Hudson Valley. I graduated from Albany Law School in May 1996.
I have been active in local Kingston politics since I was a teenager. I have served as a Republican committeeman for nearly 20 years and two terms as Kingston City Republican Chairman.
I also serve the local community in other ways. My father and I had a public access television call-in program that aired from May 2003 until 2011. I am a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Ancient Order of Hibernians. I have been the legal adviser for the Coleman High School Mock Trial Team since 2007. I also currently serve as a Fire Commissioner for the City of Kingston.
I am an expert and avid researcher of the famous Lindbergh kidnapping case. I was honored to participate as a guest lecturer on the subject at Rutgers University. I first got interested as an 18 year old college freshman. I have written a book on the subject which I hope will soon be published.
