Ricky L. Boren

Ricky Boren was born and raised in Jackson, Tennessee. His father was Aaron Boren, who worked for 50 years as a postman. His mother, Frances Boren, worked at clothing stores. Ricky played junior league sports as he was growing up. He was a member of the first graduating class of Jackson Central Merry High School. He went to the University of Tennessee, where graduated with Honors and then attended Law School at the University of Tennessee as well. He began to practice in the field of personal injury in Jackson, Tennessee on November 1, 1979.

Ricky previously served as the President of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association. He is currently a member of the Board of Delegates of the American Association for Justice. He was selected as a member of the Tennessee Judicial Foundation. He was also selected as a Super Lawyer. Mr. Boren has been named as one of the top ten plaintiffs personal injury lawyers in the State of Tennessee. He is rated AV by Martindale Hubbell Association.

Mr. Boren is married to the former Donna Rutledge of Columbia, Tennessee. They have two daughters. His older daughter, Abigail Pearson, is married to a pilot and they live with their daughter Charlotte in Valparaiso, Indiana. Charlotte is Ricky and Donna’s only grandchild and is 8 years of age. Their youngest daughter, Ellie is a casting assistant and lives in New York City. Ricky is a big University of Tennessee football fan and enjoys spending time at their cabin on the Tennessee River.
