In June 2010 my husband and I were forced, for the first time ever, to hire an attorney. Since we had never needed to seek legal counsel we didn’t put much thought or effort into who would represent us…we did a random Google search, contacted 8-10 lawyers and decided to go with the first call back that we got. Whether it was luck, fate, or just plain good karma we ended up with Robert Avera as our legal counsel. Robert quickly picked up on the fact that we were legal first timers and took extra measures to establish a positive rapport, develop trust, and ensure both my husband and myself that the three of us were a team. Throughout our entire case process Robert kept us apprised of every development. He treated us with dignity and respect. Although he was the legal expert he empowered and validated our thoughts and recommendations for resolution. He continuously fostered a sense of team play rather then taking the case and making decisions for us. In this day and age it is rare to find a professional (much less a lawyer) who truly embraces the opportunity to aid others with the clarity and care in which Robert aided us…and for that we will be forever grateful!!!
