Robert J. Morris graduated from Notre Dame Preparatory School in Pontiac in 2002. In 2006, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University. Mr. Morris acquired his Resident Producer License in 2008 and worked as a property and casualty agent with Morris Insurance Group. In 2011, he received his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law. While at Michigan State University, Mr. Morris served as Treasurer of Pi Kappa Alpha. He was also a Student Clinician in the Small Business and Non-Profit Clinic at Michigan State University College of Law.
Mr. Morris began his legal career as an intern for the Honorable Linda Davis of the 41-B District Court. He subsequently completed a judicial clerkship for the Honorable Peter J. Maceroni of the Macomb County Circuit Court.
Mr. Morris joined Kirk, Huth, Lange & Badalamenti P.L.C. in 2012. Given his insurance background, he has focused his legal practice in insurance defense litigation, insurance coverage disputes, contract litigation and business law.
Mr. Morris is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Macomb County Bar Association, and the Oakland County Bar Association. In his spare time he enjoys hockey. He not only continues to play hockey, but he also is an assistant coach for his alma mater, Notre Dame Preparatory School, varsity team. In addition to his love of hockey, he enjoys golf and he is an avid angler, enjoying both fresh and salt-water fishing.
