Robinson S. Rowe

I recently retained Robinson S. Rowe (Rowe Weinstein…Rockville MD)for a criminal matter where the complaining party obtained a criminal warrant against me for a physical confrontation he initiated (2nd degree assault for a fight). To my great surprise he was able to convince the local commissioner/police to issue a charge against me without them even attempting to contact me. Anyway, I didnt get notice of the charge by mail until about 10 days before the trial date as I had moved. I was pretty upset over it all as I have a security clearance and a clean record. A colleague referred to me Rob Rowe, a partner in the firm. When I called the firm in a bit of a panic, Rob was immediately available to me. We had an initial conversation on the phone wherein I described the altercation. He was nice, attentive and didnt rush me which was nice. He then assured me that he, not his junior staff, would be able to handle the issue. He asked me to put up a $1000 retainer. THE NEXT AFTERNOON, he called to say the matter had been DROPPED. He told me he that called the States Attorney directly and after a couple of conversations he had convinced them they would regret charging me and, if they went forward with the case that he would file a civil suit against the police/prosecutor for malicious prosecution or something like that. I was floored. When I asked how much more money I owed he said none, and that we was issuing me a refund of the remaining retainer of $150. What more can I say. This guy was pretty incredible, nowhere near the arrogant jerk most attorneys are, and charged me way less than I thought I would have to pay. THANK YOU ROB, YOU ARE THE BEST!
