When Rocco Columbus was born, people told his parents with a name like Rocco he was destined to be a lawyer. When he was 11 years old, he corrected a Little League Baseball umpire who incorrectly applied a rule, citing to the specific rule and paragraph in the rulebook, Rocco had fulfilled his destiny.
Since 1987 Rocco has lived in Virginia, with most of that time spent in the Hampton Roads area. After graduating from William and Mary in 2002 with a government major, Rocco attended law school at the University of Richmond and graduated in 2006 and soon after was admitted to the Virginia State Bar. He has been a lawyer since 2007 with a focus on criminal, civil and traffic cases. He's handled misdemeanor and felony cases, from simple assault to serious violent felonies. Rocco is admitted to practice in both the state and federal courts in Virginia.
Rocco is currently a resident of Portsmouth where he lives with his wife and daughter. Rocco was born in Pittsburgh and remains a Steelers fan.
