Roland Christensen is a gifted lawyer and thinker who lends his exceptional litigation and legal writing skills to his clients at Arnold & Itkin. Roland has worked for some of the largest and most respected law firms in Houston and developed experience in both criminal and civil appeals. An Indiana native, Roland has spent much of his life living in various locations around the world. He has lived in Boston, Tokyo, London, and eventually settled in Provo before coming to Houston. In Provo he attended Brigham Young University for his bachelor's and juris doctorate, graduating magna cum laude in the top 20 students of his class. During law school, Roland developed an exceptional skill for legal thinking and writing-a skill that serves his clients today.
While earning his law degree, Roland was the lead editor for the BYU Law Review and was the highest achiever in his legal writing and advanced appellate brief classes. He eventually became responsible for the 150-page manual on legal writing used by first-year legal writing students. Roland also authored a legal comment titled Behind the Curtain of Tort Reform that discussed the misinformation surrounding tort reform.
In his free time, Roland spends time with his wife Chandra and their children Kade, Chloe, and Wesley.
