Ronald Grayzel has been a plaintiff's personal injury lawyer since 1977 and has been certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Lawyer since 1984. He has routinely represented victims of automobile accidents, medical malpractice, work injuries and victims of crimes. Ron has won many large verdicts and/or settlements on behalf of members of families who have been seriously or fatally injured. In recognition of his accomplishments, Ron was inducted as a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers in 2010.
Ron is also well-known in the profession for handling and trying complex products liability cases against major manufacturers of industrial and consumer products. He was a pioneer in the field of toxic torts being one of the first New Jersey lawyers to try legal actions victims of asbestos disease against manufacturers of asbestos products. Ron was a co-chair of the plaintiffs' steering committee for lawyers representing victims of the Durham Woods explosion and for hemophiliacs in their legal actions against manufacturers of tainted blood products.
Ron has been active in professional organizations serving as the Chairman and Legislative Chairman of the Civil Trial Bar Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association and is a Past President of the Middlesex County Trial Lawyers Association. Ron served for many years as a member of the District Ethics Committee. Ron was selected by his peers to be a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and received the Trial Bar Award in 2004 by the Trial Lawyers of New Jersey 'For Distinguished Service in the Cause of Justice-?쳌 He has also been recognized as a New Jersey Super Lawyer between 2006 and the present.
Ron has written extensively on tort issues in professional publications and has volunteered for many charitable organizations that require legal assistance. He has done volunteer work for Legal Services and was the recipient of the Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year Award by the Middlesex County Bar Association. He also a volunteer in Trial Lawyers Care representing victims of 9/11. Ron graduated Rutgers College in 1973, and received his law degree from Rutgers Law School/Newark in 1977.
Ron has been active in his home community of Metuchen where he has served a youth coach for sport teams, a volunteer at the YMCA and a member and President of the Board of Education. For his community service Ron was named the Citizen of the Year by the Metuchen Chamber of Commerce in 2004 and was given the Charles Edgar Award by the YMCA in 2006. He is presently serving as a Metuchen Borough Councilman.
Ron has also served for many years as a Trustee of the Hemophilia Associates of New Jersey and was a recipient of the Dr. Michael Kuhn award and the Past President's award.
