Ronald G. Poquette

Ron is a life-long resident of Eau Claire, WI having graduated from Memorial High School, University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and Tulane University School of Law. Ron has been in practice since joining the Law Firm of Betz and Lebarron in 1971. Ron has continued with the firm (for 44 years) and is now Senior Partner, maintaining a General Practice with an emphasis on Personal Injury, Worker’s Compensation, Social Security Disability, Estate Planning, Probate, Real Estate and Family Law.

With the positive influence of his father, Gordon Poquette, a teacher and coach for several decades at Memorial High School, Ron became a strong student and versatile athlete in football, basketball and baseball. During College, Ron competed in several sports while also working for Arnstad Construction, Chucks Grocery and Mr. Louis Phillips. During Law School, Ron coached football and soccer and had a house painting business to support his growing family. Ron and his wife, Mary (Nelson) Poquette have been married 48 years and share three beautiful daughters and six grandchildren.

Ron looks forward to continuing to serve the local community in his capacity as Senior Partner at Poquette, Donnellan & Schlewitz Law, LLC.
