Scot G. Nimmo is an associate in the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. He focuses his practice in the area of workers' compensation defense representing employers and carriers throughout Florida.
Mr. Nimmo began his workers' compensation practice in 1993. Prior to joining QPWB, he was an attorney with Moore, Peterson & Zeitler, P.A., in Orlando, where he tried numerous workers' compensation cases.
Mr. Nimmo received his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida, Fredric G. Levin College of Law in Gainesville, Fla., in 1990 and a Bachelor of Science, with honors, from the University of Florida in 1988 majoring in finance.
Mr. Nimmo is licensed to practice law in Florida and is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He is a member of the Workers' Compensation Section of The Florida Bar.
Mr. Nimmo is a certified arbitrator and member of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). He is also a certified continuing education instructor and lectures on a wide range of issues pertaining to workers' compensation matters, as well as ethics and general liability topics.
