Scott Cohen is a trial attorney and Managing Attorney at NORTH BAY JUSTICE.
Scott takes pride in helping clients solve their most complex and challenging legal problems. His practice focuses on personal injury, business, and landlord-tenant cases. Unlike many (if not most lawyers), Scott is a trial attorney and he has real life trial experience. Many (if not most) lawyers do not. Scott believes law is called a "practice" for a reason - i.e., the best trial lawyers constantly practice and must continue to learn, if they want to win. That's why Scott is a student at Keenan Trial Institute (and will be for the rest of his law career).
Scott gets real-world, measurable results.Scott's personal injury practice involves cases arising out of motor vehicle crashes, premises liability falls, and dog bites. Scott's business law cases typically involve business torts and breach of contract disputes. In 2022, Scott single-handley recovered millions of dollars from his landlord-tenant cases.
Following college, Scott D. Cohen had a career in San Francisco's Financial District where he worked as a market data analyst. Scott still maintains an affinity for numbers but now he combines his expertise in these seemingly unrelated fields to NORTH BAY JUSTICE's advantage in the courtroom. Using IBM's statistical and social science research software (SPSS), and other world-class statistical research techniques, Scott oversees NORTH BAY JUSTICE'sFocus Group/Mock Jury Program and Jury Selection Database.
Scott attended the University of California at Davis, where he graduated summa cum laude (highest honors) and earned his law degree from Empire School of Law. Scott is fully licensed to practice law by State Bar of California.
