      Scott has had extensive general practice experience since 1989, including bench and jury trial experience in both the Rhode Island District and Superior Courts. Scott has appeared before the Rhode Island Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the district of Rhode Island, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the district of Rhode Island, and the United States First Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as appearances before state and municipal administrative agencies and boards. Scott serves as outside general counsel to numerous Rhode Island businesses.

      Voted by his peers as among the 50 best lawyers in Rhode Island, and as one of the top two lawyers for business counseling, as reported in Rhode Island Monthly magazine (2/98). Recipient of Rhode Island Bar Association Pro Bono Publico Award for Outstanding Public Service (5/94).
