Scott has litigation, trial, and appellate experience representing businesses and individuals in state and federal courts throughout Michigan and in other federal districts. He is proud to protect the interests of decedents, trustees, and beneficiaries in will and trust litigation. While Scott specializes in complex civil and probate litigation, he proactively advises clients how to protect their interests and avoid litigation in a variety of contexts, including business and entertainment law, internet commerce, copyright and trademark law.
Scott's clients range from businesses and non-profit organizations, to artists, musicians, independent film makers, and other hard-working individuals. Whether working in the courtroom or the boardroom, for every client, Scott's goal is the same: to provide insightful legal services that protect individuals and add value to businesses.
Prior to practicing law, Scott was a professional jazz guitarist, bandleader, and composer. In his spare time, Scott takes pleasure in running, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors with his wife, children and dog. He ran his first trail marathon in 2007.
