      Biography

      Shaun McNamara is an associate attorney and focuses his practice primarily on civil litigation, commercial litigation, family law, and personal injury. Shaun is licensed to practice law in North Dakota.

      After passing the bar exam in 2019, Shaun fulfilled a two-year clerkship in North Dakota's East Central Judicial District. During his clerkship, Shaun served as the law clerk for all-nine district court judges and two judicial referees.

      Shaun earned his Bachelor's degree in English with a writing emphasis from Minnesota State University Moorhead. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2019. While in law school, Shaun competed as a member of the UND Law Trial Team, contributed as a member of the North Dakota Law Review, and worked as the legislative intern in the office of the North Dakota Attorney General during the 66th Legislative Assembly. Additionally, Shaun interned at the Fargo Public Defender's Office and received the Summer Public Interest Law Work Grant. Shaun also worked as a summer associate for a firm in Fargo.

      Shaun enjoys his life outside the courtroom by golfing, reading, and spending time with friends, family and his fiancé Kat.
