Sherie grew up in West Mifflin, graduated from West Mifflin Area High School in 1990, and currently lives in North Versailles with her husband Douglas M. Cannin and their dog CeJai Tabasca.
Sherie earned her bachelors degree in Administration of Criminal Justice from the University of Pittsburgh in 1997. Sherie earned her Juris Doctorate from the Duquesne University School of Law in 2004 where she served two years on the Student Bar Association as well as serving one year as the Justice of Phi Alpha Delta, International Law Fraternity. While attending Law School in the evenings, Sherie continued to work full-time during the day as a Paralegal for Pribanic & Pribanic, LLC. She has focused on plaintiff’s side of the bar which she finds most rewarding, as she seeks to advocate individuals and families who have in some way been harmed.
Sherie concentrates her practice in civil litigation, including Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Medical Malpractice Litigation, Products Liability, Construction Defects, Nursing Home Negligence, Motor Vehicle Accidents, and Premises Liability. She is a compassionate attorney who has a focused passion for helping children who have been injured.
Sherie is currently volunteering as the Treasurer for St. John’s Lutheran Evangelical Church in North Versailles and is also volunteering as liaison on the Finance Committee as well as serving a two-year term as an elected member of their Council. Sherie previously served as a volunteer mentor for two years in the CLAAY program at the McKeesport Area High School.
