DO NOT hire the services of the Law Office of Sid Rosenberg!!
First I notice any positive reviews appear to be over one to three years old.
I/we hired him for an eviction in Placer County. They were incompetent, in knowledge and time. They ADMITTED to making a mistake which caused a two week+ delay in the eviction process. The mistake would have caused a lot more than two weeks if I hadn’t taken upon MYSELF to contact the Court. This delay caused us to lose a minimum $1400 and up to $4,000 (because of the delay three dogs were allowed to roam free by themselves in the house for two weeks defecating. Floors had to be ripped up and replaced)
As I formerly managed a law office (I am not an attorney) I was aware that a writ of possession is usually returned by the court within 24 hours, 48 hours max. After waiting for the writ to be returned from the court for over TWO WEEKS, and questioning the law office SEVERAL times (I was told by Sid’s staff that the Court was a month behind) as why the writ was not returned, I contacted the Court MYSELF. Sid Rosenberg’s office filed the writ in the WRONG category causing the delay!!! WITHIN two hours after my call to the Court, to the Courts credit, they corrected Sid’s mistake and issued the Writ of Possession. Why didn’t Sid’s office call them?
ADDITIONALLY. During this process I requested to speak to Sid on at least 4 occasions. Neither Sid or any other attorney returned my call. All legal questions were answered by NON ATTORNEY staff!
After months of trying to come to some sort of agreement for reparations
Sid has offered to speak to us on the phone regards this matter but has not done so due to work constraints, we are not available until 4:30 pm.
He was asked to put his proposal to make reparations in writing. His proposal was an embarrassment, costing him less than $25.00
