In 2010 or 2011 I hired Trotter to represent me in a divorce agreement. It should have been easy. Me and my ex had no assets and i was not fighting her for custody of the children. He charged me $800 up front, which I paid. I then had to hound him for more than 8 months to create the divorce agreement. he kept giving me one excuse after another. Once he finally created the document (a cut and paste job), he wanted to charge me even more. I dropped him and refused to pay anything further. He tried to take me to collections for the amount that I refused to pay.
