Steven A. Young was born in Orlando, Florida and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, with honors, from the University of Central Florida in 1988. He served as the Managing Editor of the Barry Law Review while receiving his Juris Doctor from the Barry University School of Law in 2004.
Steven A. Young was admitted to the Florida Bar and has practiced law since 2004. Mr. Young primarily practices immigration law which includes family, business, deportation defense, and asylum.
Prior to joining Bogin, Munns & Munns, Mr. Young started his own Family Law firm. Mr. Young worked for a full service Immigration Law Firm in both Florida and Texas. Mr. Young was the managing attorney for the El Paso office and concentrated substantially in Deportation/Removal defense of both detained and non-detained clients.
Mr. Young is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and previously worked in law enforcement. He is very involved in public education, having served as the founding president of the first Charter High School in Orange County, Florida.
Mr. Young is a member of the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association and past member of several judicial committees within the Ninth Judicial Circuit.
