Steven J. Matz’s concentration is in motor vehicle law, with an emphasis on traumatic brain injury. He is a 1974 graduate of the University of Michigan where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree with high distinction and highest honors. In 1977, he earned his Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University National Law Center.
Mr. Matz is a member of the Bar of Michigan, Colorado, Texas, and Washington, D.C. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, Oakland County Mediation Tribunal, and the Michigan Attorney Discipline Board as a Hearing Panel Chairman. He has been appointed by the Michigan Supreme Court as a Master.
Mr. Matz lectures and publishes in ethics, marketing, client counseling, trial tactics, head injury, and legal research and writing.
