Mr. Bailey is Of Counsel in the Colorado Springs office. He is an honors graduate of the Washington and Lee University School of Law and has practiced in the field of civil litigation since 1977. He was admitted to the Colorado bar in 1981. He has also been admitted to the bars of New Mexico, Texas, The District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. Mr. Bailey's practice has always emphasized general litigation defense, including simple and complex commercial disputes and defense of general liability and tort claims and complex construction litigation.
Mr. Bailey's litigation experience includes taking more than one hundred cases to jury trial and numerous bench trials and arbitrations. Many of the arbitrations have been under the auspices of the American Arbitration Association Construction Rules.
Mr. Bailey is a member of the American, Colorado, and El Paso County Bar Associations as well as the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, the Colorado Claims Association, and the Defense Research Institute.
