- Credit Cards Accepted - Gilder Law uses Law Pay to process all credit card fee payments. This company has been approved by the American Bar Association and the Louisiana Bar Association.
- Contingent Fees - The primary focus of Gilder Law is personal injury clients. We accept auto accidents, offshore accidents, slip and fall accidents among others. In all personal injury cases, fees are on a contingency basis and are paid at the conclusion of the case. Typically the fee is 33% of the entire amount of settlement or recovery. There are some variations to this, depending upon the specific case.
- Rates, Retainers and Additional Information - Family Law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, etc. require a fee for a one hour initial consultation. However, in some cases, especially those that are not contested and do not involve child custody, I may charge a flat fee instead of requiring a retainer and billing hourly.
