Thomas Austin Slaughter

Thomas is a partner at the Stuart, Florida office of Thomas|Pinnacoli. Thomas’ practice areas include family law, estate planning, probate and trust litigation, real estate law, debt collection, landlord/tenant law, business law, contracts law, DUI defense, tort litigation and other areas of civil litigation. Prior to joining Thomas|Pinnacoli, Thomas was an associate at Foreman, McInnis & Associates, P.A. located in Lake City, Florida. While practicing in Lake City, Thomas volunteered as a member of the Kiwanis Club and the American Red Cross. Thomas was awarded special recognition in 2014 by Three Rivers Legal Society for his pro bono representation of citizens within the community. Thomas received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, cum laude, from the University of Florida and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Florida Coastal School of Law. While in law school, Thomas was awarded a Dean's Scholarship for academic excellence and received the Cali Excellence for the Future Award in Lawyering Processes for best brief. Thomas received a special certification for his directed studies in the area of Family Law and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi honor society and the Entertainment Law Society. Thomas is a member of the Family Law section of the Florida Bar, the Real Property section of the Florida Bar, and the Probate and Trusts section of the Florida Bar. Thomas is licensed to practice law in all Florida state courts.
