Tom has significant trial experience in both West Virginia and Ohio, where he has represented a variety of individuals and small businesses against large corporations or insurance companies. While primarily working as a trial lawyer, he also provides sound legal advice to help folks make informed decisions in everyday life. His practice areas include personal injury and wrongful death, criminal defense, social security, civil litigation as well as wills and estates. Tom currently resides with his wife and two children in Hurricane, Putnam County, WV. Tom is a member of the American Association for Justice and sits on the Board of Directors for the West Virginia Association for Justice. He is also involved in various activities around the community, including President of the Board, Dumont Tri-County YMCA.
After graduating from St. Albans High School in 1994, Tom attended both Marshall University and West Virginia University. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Marshall University in 1998 and his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from West Virginia University in 2001.
