Tim F. Watson Sr

Tim Sr has been practicing since 1970, at the Law Offices of Watson and Watson. In the 1990's, he bought the firm, and the building. In 2011, his son Tim Jr., finished law school and came and worked with Tim Sr. In 2015, his son Todd joined them, after a couple of years working for a personal injury firm. In 2017, Tim Jr. and Todd bought the firm and the building from Tim Sr. At this time, Tim Sr. stayed on as Of Counsel. He took his own clients, and advised Tim Jr and Todd on theirs. In late 2017, he accepted an offer to fill a spot as a Circuit Judge for the duration of 2018. When he finishes, he will return to his role as Of Counsel and senior adviser to the firm. He is an invaluable asset, and has a great track record of successful practice. He is so well respected in Northeast Arkansas, that Judge Phil Smith asked him to fill in for him in 2018. He chose Tim Sr. personally, because of his excellent reputation for honesty and competence. Numerous times Tim Sr. has been awarded the Highest Possible Rating in Both Legal Ability and Ethical Standards by Martindale Hubbell. He received plaques from MH in 2011, 2013, 2016 for that. In 2013 he also received a plaque from MH saying that he has been rated AV Preeminent for 25 straight years, from 1988-2013, for Highest Possible Rating in Both Legal Ability and Ethical Standards.
