Tim Williams is our lead litigation attorney. Tim is particularly skilled at jury trials, and has tried a number of cases to verdict. In fact, Tim has taken more cases to trial than most of his peers. He has a reputation for his tenacity, competence, and professionalism among the legal community.
Tim handles all types of personal injury cases, including car accidents, semi-truck accidents, ATV and motorcycle accidents, airline injuries, slip and falls, work accidents, animal attacks, neck and back injuries / whiplash / herniated disks, brain injuries, nerve injuries, bone and joint injuries, neck and back surgeries, wrongful death, and much more. Given his litigation experience, Tim is able to settle most of his cases without the need for trial. However, Tim never assumes a case will settle out of court, loves trial work, and prepares each case accordingly.
Tim Williams was born and raised in Grants Pass, Oregon. He attended Grants Pass High School from 1991-1995, where he was a standout athlete in football, basketball, and track. He graduated with Honors in 1995.
Tim attended Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon in 1995-1996. While at Linfield, he played basketball for the college and focused his studies on Chemistry. He then attended Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon from 1996-1999, where he played college football and basketball. His 1998-1999 college basketball team ranked second in the nation during the season, won the Conference Championship, and played in the National Tournament. While attending SOU, Tim worked weekends and summers at a plywood mill in Grants Pass (Stone Forest, later U.S. Forest Products). He graduated with Honors, Summa Cum Laude, from SOU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology in 1999.
Tim began working at Roy Dwyer's personal injury firm as a law clerk in the fall of 1999, where he continued working throughout law school. He attended the University of Oregon School of Law from 2000-2003. While there, he was active in his role as student liaison for the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, and worked for Lane County Legal Aid representing low-income clients in civil disputes. He graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2003, and was admitted to the Oregon State Bar the same year. He now focuses his statewide law practice on personal injury litigation, and is the primary litigation attorney for the firm.
Tim lives in Bend, Oregon with his wife and daughter. Aside from spending time with his family, Tim enjoys hiking, mountain biking, golfing, fishing, hunting, wakeboarding, and playing basketball. He particularly enjoys snowboarding on Mt. Bachelor. Tim also volunteers to help the less fortunate in the community, including several Rotary projects, and also serving on the board of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Oregon.
